In addition JoAnn has been thoroughly trained as a Certified
Schatz Technique practitioner through a 2.5 year
apprenticeship with Bernard Schatz, P.T. This technique is helpful for chronic pain as well as as preventative care.

JoAnn's practice is a local business, established in 2001. She continues to support our community through donated massage sessions to various charitable causes and non-profit organizations, such as The Waldorf School, the SPCA, CHIP employee's and The Women's Initiative. JoAnn has worked with other massage therapists to provide community massage therapy to those in need through Common Ground at The Westhaven Clinic and has volunteered massage sessions through Legacy Hospice. JoAnn worked at Common Ground for 8 months to provide under-served local communities the ability to experience professional massage services.
